Executive 360 Reflection: A Structured One-Page Guide

Transform 360° Feedback into actionable leadership growth using the Art, Skill, and Science of Reflection.

Step 1: Establish Clarity

Goal: Define the focus of your Reflection.

  • Identify key areas from 360 feedback: blind spots, strengths, and interpersonal impact.
  • Ask: “What insight will make the greatest difference in my leadership?”

Step 2: Commit to Action

Goal: Convert insight into intentional change.

  • Select 2–3 priority behaviors to improve.
  • Define measurable outcomes.

  • Ask: “What am I willing to do differently starting today?”

Step 3: Develop Accountability

Goal: Ensure follow-through.

  • Identify metrics for progress tracking.
  • Engage a coach, mentor, or trusted peer for accountability.
  • Ask: “Who will help me stay honest and focused?”

Step 4: Implement with Intent

Goal: Translate Reflection into daily leadership action.

  • Apply new behaviors in meetings, coaching, and decision-making.
  • Solicit Feedback iteratively to adjust approach.
  • Ask: “How will I practice and embed these changes consistently?”

Step 5: Reflect and Celebrate

Goal: Reinforce growth and sustain momentum.

  • Maintain a reflection journal: document wins, lessons, and emotional reactions.
  • Celebrate milestones to reinforce positive behaviors.
  • Ask: “How will I acknowledge progress and maintain motivation?”

Executive Tips for Maximum Impact

  • Approach feedback with curiosity, not defensiveness.
  • Focus on patterns, not isolated comments.
  • Integrate Reflection into your leadership routine—continuous growth is the goal.
  • Build emotional intelligence to act effectively on insights.

Note here what you will do differently now.
