How to Make Collaboration a Core Value in your Organization

As we know, Cores Values represent how we as an organization agree to behave. These values indicate internally and externally what to expect when working with us as an organization. Many organizations feature posters, banners, and other prominent media to display the “How we do it”. That is all fantastic if they are consistent with supporting that behavior internally and externally with accountability.

Ineffective teamwork demonstrates role and decision ambiguity and uncertainty. Worse yet, conflicting priority sets and detrimental emotional responses.  To collaborate all teams must operate with sound emotional, cognitive, and psychological safety.

As a leader, ask yourself these questions.

Remember you are answering these questions from the position of collaboration. However, you may choose to use these 360 styled questions in your general leadership style and effectiveness development.
