Intentionally fostering a culture of collaboration is crucial for cultivating robust workplace relationships internally and externally. Many individuals and organizations could collaborate better with their teams, partners, employees, vendors, and clients — they lack the intentional focus to do so.

2: Communication and Conflict Management

Learning Objective:

How do you effectively communicate? Do you consistently provide clear and actionable expectations and deliverables? Communication is the number one job for leaders. You will enhance your communication skills across the board in this unit. Communication significantly impacts all we do, both professionally and personally. Learning Objective:

Are you ever drawn to the dark side? Are you consistently controlling your emotions as a human and a leader? Have you ever wished you had a do-over with a particular person or situation? I bet we all have. Limiting this type of personal behavior as a leader requires elevating an understanding of the specific dimensions encompassing emotional intelligence for better effectiveness. As you can imagine, this is not a one-size-fits-all approach. What is best for you? This requires awareness, effort, and intentional improvement…. You’d better not mail this one in.

4: Adaptability and Organizational Change Shaping Culture

Learning Objective:

Does your organization ever feel stagnate? Have you lost good team members with no explanation? Do things not feel right? You will better understand the effort required to create a culture of success for you and your organization. This is an ongoing process requiring real work. Unfortunately, many believe it to be a one-and-done type of effort. They lose the game. Adaptability and organizational change are necessary for sustainability in any organization. Difficult conversations and team adjustments are often needed for improvement and growth. If it were easy…everyone would be doing it!

5: Accountability and Time Management Techniques Valuable to My Role as a Leader

Learning Objectives:

Do you ever feel disorganized? Do you often feel as though your team is all over the place? Worse yet, do you miss deadlines or receive negative customer feedback because you do not have it together? Where did the time go? It happens, but it is necessary to maintain better structure, systems, time management, and accountability to prevent poor performance. You will develop techniques for better Accountability, time management, organization, and Performance. Hint: Improved communication supports improved team performance.
